Tomorrow...my sweet middle child turns that sweet sixteen! She is so excited too. Me....wondering where the time has gone. What a pleasure to be the mama.
Congatulations, I think! My daughter just turned 5, and it seems like we just brought her home from the hospital. I know the next 11 years will fly by too.
I was so excited to learn that you will be coming to a Women's Conference my area at the end of April. I saw a flyer for it at church yesterday and told my husband that he will be watching the kids that night because I AM GOING!! I can't wait!!
My daughter just got her first you know what undergarment. I told my husband and he asked if we could push rewind. Oh how I wish it were true! And while I miss the "mommy" days, I'm amazed at the deep and beautiful relationship that's replaced the super needy years.
Thank you for sharing about your relationships with your kids as they grow. It gives this mom a lot to look forward to!
Happy Birthday Hayden and WOW!!! What a darling baby. Remember, that's what your mother sees every time she looks at you so don't be surprised when she frets over you as you drive away! Be patient with her, and kind, and most of all be AWARE.
Look both ways at those intersections before you dart off. Text when you get there. Don't be wild in the car. Don't take dares. Keep the music down. (Okay, I'm a mom and simply have to lecture. It's required before they let you graduate from mom college. And I have my doctorate. The End.)
Now, keeping all that in mind at ALL TIMES,,,,,go have fun!!!
What a precious, precious video. I love that baby age. So happy. Smile at everyone.

I know people keep telling me time will fly...I'll blink my eyes and they'll be grown. Though I have to be honest, I have not experience the "where has the time gone" ache yet. I've been at this mama thing since 1997. They all still seem so little to me. I'm still changing diapers and have gates on the staircase.
When does it start going fast????
In reality I'm really thankful it's going slow. Some days I wish it would go a little faster...but most days feel full and complete.

I guess that's a good thing.
