We're overdue for a give-away!

UPDATE: WE HAVE WINNERS! Congratulations to:

Angie128 - Me and My Good Life - http://meandmygoodlife.blogspot.com/
Mindy - mindymc5@gmail.com - http://philippians4verse8.blogspot.com/
J. Davis - j6davis@gci.net

This give-away is a bit random in nature, but I was inspired by seeing this on Facebook. Grab the nearest book to you and turn to page 56. Scroll down to the 5th sentence on the page and copy and paste it into your reply on this post. Don't forget to leave your email if you don't have a blog profile I.D., so we can find you if you win. One week from today, we will draw for 3 winners and each will receive a signed copy of my newest release, 5 Conversations You Must Have With Your Daughter. In fact, I'll let you pick between the book or the new Bible study workbook. Best of luck!

Oh, and just for fun, I turned to page 56 of 5 Conversations and here is the 5th sentence: "And for the record, if the pediatrician isn't worried, you shouldn't be either." Pretty random!

pp.56, Fruit of the Spirit Leader's Guide (Gospel Light).

It's an object lesson about Betsy and Corrie ten Boom and how they showed thankfulness to God, even in the midst of bad conditions. The anti-itch cream is to demonstrate that the guards never came into their barracks because of the flea infestation.

(What a cool lesson. I may have to use that example sometime.)

That's amazing! Several days ago on Facebook someone sent me the challenge to share the 5th sentence on p. 56 and I posted back to her the very sentence you included--
I was reading 5 Conversations You Must Have that day!!! :D

Would you believe that page 56 in the nearest book is completely BLANK? I can't believe it! Page 56 of "Boundaries with Kids" is the back side of a section divider page ("Part 2 - Ten Boundary Principles Kids Need to Know.") I just got this book in the mail today, along with my very own copy of "5 Conversations..." If I win the giveaway copy, it will for sure go to my sister!!

Hah, that page in my nearest book has NOTHING on it. I was tempted to grab the next book but that wouldn't be what you asked for AND I am just blog reading at 2:30 am in between dealing with my sick child. I have a feeling the minute I rest my weary head on my pillow he will start to cough again. :) Ah, the joys of this gig!
